Assalamualaikum and greetings to everyone. This time I was given the task to complete that I have chosen which is related to the issue of Global Warming...

    We often see the effects of environmental pollution that often occur now. This situation is not the same when compared to the atmosphere in the past with a peaceful and comfortable environment. This allows humans and creatures on earth to live comfortably. Even so, in this modern world, the state of the earth has become warmer and has implications for human life and the environment, in short, global warming can occur. This global warming is a natural phenomenon of rising earth temperature which has a negative impact on life on this earth due to certain factors.

    There are many factors that cause global warming, among them due to the release of carbon dioxide gas. Carbon dioxide gas is a type of gas released through several sources such as combustion, respiration, greenhouse effect and so on. This release of carbon dioxide gas can cause the greenhouse effect caused by the increase in carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Therefore, excess carbon dioxide gas will be trapped in the earth's atmosphere and prevent infrared light emission from being reflected into space. This causes the earth to re-absorb the following gases and cause the earth to become hot.

    In addition, the release of chlorofluorocarbon gas (CFC) into the air can also result in depletion of the ozone layer. The ozone layer is a blue, warm-smelling gas that protects the earth from ultraviolet rays from the sun. The ozone layer acts as a dangerous sunlight filter before it reaches the earth. The use of gas (CFCs) used such as air conditioners, refrigerators, and mosquito repellent sprayers contain carbon, chlorine and fluorine atoms that can destroy ozone and producing ozone holes. Furthermore, ultraviolet rays from the sun that are not filtered by the ozone layer will cause dangerous diseases such as skin diseases that can threaten human health.

    Rapid industrial development also contributes to global warming. This is said to be due to increasing industrial activity causing factories to release harmful gases such as sulfur dioxide and carbon dioxide. This can indirectly cause environmental pollution and increase the earth's temperature. Scientists in western countries have predicted that the earth's temperature will rise to 45 degrees Celsius by 2030. Thus, this phenomenon gives the impression that the earth will become warmer in turn resulting in melting of ice at the North Pole and high tides.

    Thus, global warming is having a major impact on life on earth. The passage of this modern era also has a comprehensive impact on the environment and life on this earth. In this regard, every individual in the world should practice the spirit of love for the environment like the 3R practice that has been practiced since time immemorial. The role of the government is also important to control any activity that can cause environmental pollution by strengthening the legal act closely related to environmental issues. So, with the hope that the phenomenon of global warming that is plaguing the world can be overcome immediately to live together in peace and prosperity.
